An interesting game forMetros (15-9) which hosted in Santiago their biggest opponent Indios (13-10). First ranked Metros had an easy win 110-83 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Indios. Metros dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Indios ' 24. Metros looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Indios ' players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Oliver Garcia (188-1996) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 steals. Forward Adonis Lopez (-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Metros players scored in double figures. American swingman Adrio Bailey (197-1997, college: Arkansas) replied with 9 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Juan Rosario (203-1999) added 18 points in the effort for Indios. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Metros maintains first position with 15-9 record. Indios at the other side dropped to the third place with ten games lost.
